As a loyal member of a certain hotel chain, I have started looking for cheaper hotels because I believe all chain hotel prices have gotten out of control. My wife discovered this hotel while vacationing in Rapid City, SD. Foothills Hotel offered all the amenities of the big chain hotels at about half the price. Hotel very clean and worth the money.

The room was clean, the staff was awesome, a/c worked great, and the parking was very good. It was very quiet considering busy all around. Had a small issue with the tv but it was quickly taken care of. It was right in the heart of where we wanted to be when we wanted to be there. Will definitely stay there again...

The room was clean and we would stay there again. However, the mattress needs to be replaced. Breakfast consisted of several choices of cold cereal, juices and a Jimmy Dean's microwave croissant sandwich. It was good enough to get us going. The property is older but okay. The front desk staff was very helpful and the person working breakfast was consistently cleaning the area and replenishing juices and milks as needed.

The rooms were okay, but, lots of stains on the carpet, comforters were dirty and stains, we found a half used cigarette in the towels ove the clothes rack, very little to no breakfast, but the front staff was awesome, especially the lady this morning, wonderful woman. But thank you for the stay, , parks and air conditioning were awesome, staff awesome too. We will recommend.
