"We stayed there on a relatively quiet weekend; summer is not in full effect yet. Upon my booking, I called the hotel to request that one of the rooms be on the first floor as my parents are not good with stairs, they were very understanding and called me back about two days later to confirm they were able to accommodate the request. Upon arrival, everyone around for checking in was unbelievably kind. We inquired about the onsite grills and they said that we just needed to let them know which of the rooms we needed it by and they would ensure that it was there for us. They have many grills available with all needed tools which was great. Aside from that, the double rooms were very spacious. The king-sized rooms weren't as big, but they were good enough. The rooms were recently renovated and cleaned nicely. They have kayaks and other water items for rent as their property is right on the water. The pool is slightly heated which was amazing after going into the cold lake. Lots of onsite activities; firepits, ping pong, play area for the kids, etc. Overall, I would recommend this place ten times over. I plan on being back! "

"Stayed during Americade and the hotel parking lot was packed. Despite this, the owner came out and helped find a parking spot on his property so that we could park the car. Great service!"

" A great place. The rooms are cozy and clean. Comfortable beds. Very scenic . A perfect place for families, groups of friends and couple. The amenities from the heated pool to the tennis are great. I would recommend to others and I am looking forward to staying there again."
