This is a great place to stay. The area is super walkable with tons of restaurants and bars to choose from. The onsite free parking is a great perk as well.

Cow Hollow Inn and Suites is a "work in progress" and I would definitely stay here again. I arrived on a Friday night ~7:30 p.m. The neighborhood is safe and lively with lots of young folks and families walking on the streets. Because there are a lot of hotels and inns in this neighborhood, there's a lot of signage in the vicinity advising vacationers NOT to leave valuables in their cars. (Good advice for any neighborhood.) The hotel lobby is in the garage (?), and to get to the rooms, one walks a short distance from the lobby to reach a glass-enclosed chamber housing the elevator and stairway to the rooms - this chamber is accessed with the room key. At this point, a "What the heck" response would be in order because none of this looks great. Once your on your floor and walking to your room, things start looking up. The room is comfortable and a pleasant in a thoughtful way. The bathroom is spacious and has the latest in lighting electronics, and the showerhead is new and of high quality. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet, although my room didn't face the street. Operating the TV was a challenge. The remote was simpler than most, but not at all intuitive. In all my recent travels, finding TV programs is a no-brainer. Not here. In summary, there is something inexplicably fun and inviting about the Cow Hollow Inn. It's not at all your competent but boring corporate motel/inn. Oh, and there's a Mel's Diner across the street.

The property was in a great location and was in walking distance to a lot of attractions. The underground parking garage was also a bonus making feel that my car was safe while I stayed and I didn’t have to worry about finding parking somewhere else.

The West elevator stopped working several times a day. The elevator lights in the car worked sporadically. The floor I was on was half under construction. The part I was on had no carpet. There was only fire sprinkler head on the ceiling and it was against the window and blocked by a ceiling light. The toilet was set incorrectly and rocks.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. It’s in little Italy and has so many places to walk to. The rooms are stunning, there is construction going on due to renovations so the hallways are iffy but the rooms are beautiful. The beds are comfy and there’s parking. I will only be staying here from now on when I come to the city. No breakfast though or microwaves in room which sucks.

Wonderful stay at Cow Hollow. Easy check-in, priced right, and parking garage included with in-out privileges. Close walking to restaurants, MUNI transportation and even Walgreens. The Marina is a safe six block walk to enjoy the sunset over the GGB and the recreational path. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Interior rooms do not have view (only of exterior wall). As others have commented, a mini fridge in room would be a nice addition. Also, rooms do not have USB ports/outlets. We had no issues with our stay and would recommend.

I picked this Inn because of the garage since you hear a lot about smash and grab in San Francisco. Note that there is no "lobby", Just the checkin/out area on the main parking level. Didn't spend much time in the room but it was spacious and clean. Water pressure in the shower was a bit weak and showering at night gave more consistent water temps than in the morning. Don't know why. Gave a check-in review and noted the room was quiet. Unfortunately that was because it was around 7pm. Our room faced Lombard Street and morning rush was loud. Even so, pretty satisfied with our choice.
