My friend and I were going to a concert at Bill Graham Auditorium. It is 1 1/2 blocks away. It is even closer to the Orpheum Theater. We felt very safe walking to and from at night. Breakfast in the restaurant was the perfect end to our stay.
Great location. Great staff. Clean. Quiet. We had a really great stay in our tower deluxe king. Great view.
The lobby was very elegant and fancy and the amenities in the room are almost complete (no tootbrush, however) but I do find that majority of western hotels doesn’t have complimentary toothbrush. My biggest complain would be the staffs. I called a day before my trip to ask for questions regarding ...
Overall the stay was fine. Great location close to Fishermans Wharf, also we walked to Union Square and back again easily. Upon returning home to NZ I found that the hold on my credit card for the key deposit had in fact been debited from my account along with the cost of 3 nights accommodation (for ...
We had a great stay in the hotel. Very pleased with service provided. Hotel is centrally located and close to all major sights. I will definitely recommend it.
Beautiful hotel in historic building with nautical decor. Great location! Easy walk to Fisherman’s Wharf, cable cars, & other attractions. Great restaurant in the hotel too! Very clean, quiet & comfortable room. Highly recommend this hotel.
My WWII parents stayed at the Mark Hopkins in 1947 when my war bride mother arrived from Sydney, Australia. I had always wished to see for myself the inside of this hotel. It was charming, and the staff very helpful. George, the concierge, was especially helpful.
The very friendly staff checked in with me prior to arrival to see when I might be arriving, invited me to joint he continental breakfast even if my room was not yet ready that morning, allowed me to store my backpack in the lobby area until I could properly check in and also the next day when I ...
I loved this bed n breakfast! So unique! It is from the late 1870's and has such character with beautiful antiques! And the bathroom has been remodeled just gorgeous! The morning breakfast was delicious with eggplant quiche on the Sunday we were there! Staff was so great!
Ideal location for getting around downtown SF quickly - cable car runs right by. The staff was friendly and professional. Cool old hotel!
The hotel was close to the BART, cable cars, and union square. The room was small and they were doing construction on its in house restaurant, but the staff was pleasant.
We had a great stay. The unit and ammenities were perfect for our family. We stayed for 4 nights and 4 days. The location was amazing and was close to a ton of food etc. There was a small issue with the fire alarm going off in the morning. We casually mentioned that it was an inconvenience to the ...
Easy to get to. Felt very safe for two women traveling alone. Private parking garage under rooms a major plus. The rooms are upstairs. Beds are very comfortable. Great windows offer air flow. The bathroom is old but very nicely updated. The little courtyard is gorgeous with blooming flowers. The ...
