The Westin St. Francis is a great hotel located right at Union Square. It is classic and elegant, the staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. I prefer rooms in the Tower and the view from the elevator and room is fabulous.
Everything we wanted to see was within a twenty minute walk. The hotel is great and they provided just about everything you would need considering the rooms do not have their own bathrooms. We would definitely stay here again.
The staff was wonderful. The hotel is classic San Francisco -located in Union Square. Architecture and design of the hotel are gorgeous. The rooms are a small and the bathroom was tiny T
The Mark Hopkins is a nice hotel in a very good location. It’s safe and clean but not really one of the higher end places one can choose. The Top of the Mark has a great view but it’s decor and overall “vibe” seems to put off the feel that it was something special long ago. The furnishings makes ...
This old Victorian building is well maintained. Recently(?) refurbished room was comfortable, attractive and clean. Preserved architectural features. Handsome restaurant. Bus stop just outside takes you downtown and 3 blocks walk to food and shopping in Japantown.
i lived in the area many years ago (decades) and saw the renovation of the building but had never gone in. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. this is an excellent location-quiet, walking distance to downtown, Civic Center, Japantown, Fillmore to Union Street or the Marina, with local shops and ...
Excellent refurbished hotel in the happening part of central San Francisco, close to China Town, and with trolley access to the wharf. The only negative was the lack of a view from our room and the surprise charge of $56.00 + tax for parking for one day.
Front staff was very nice. Held the room for me for late check in. Had fresh fruit, hot coffee, juice, pastries on each floor for breakfast. Cozy and clean room. Older but comfortable amenities. Was in the city for a meeting and just needed a place to sleep and store my stuff. Great location just ...
Cramped quarters but the bed was comfortable and the shower is nice. The bathroom is tiny as is the bedroom itself however I think everything in San Francisco is! The hotel is very old but cute and well kept. You can hear some noise from above and in the hallway as the walls and doors aren’t completely ...
It a nice and clean and true four star hotel. I strongly suggest this hotel.
Nice close to the union squared, excellence restaurants and shopping.
Cute themed hotel. Great for the price. Getting close to a bad part of town but still overall great hotel.
Enjoyed the residential location. Perfect for my husband to walk out to the Bay to Breakers run which I participated so that he could watch. Staff was very friendly and nice. Good breakfast and conversation. Comfortable
