We stayed at the San Remo due to it's value and proximity to Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39 and Pier 33. The hotel has plenty of character and, as long as you are prepared to forego the ensuite, this place is the perfect resting spot for travellers on the go or on the move. Plenty of restaurants, bakeries ...

Stayed in Hotel Majestic and it was a really nice stay. The hotel has the old fashioned San Fran style. Wasn’t sure what to expect at the Queen Anne but we weren’t disappointed. Each room is individually designed, lots of character in a Victorian style. Our room was great, but I managed to take a glance into some of the surrounding rooms as they were being serviced, and they were even better. Great ...

We had to change rooms on arrival as the first overlooked some air conditioning units, and the glazing did not keep out the noise, but staff quickly sorted out another room overlooking the street, where the noise was less intrusive.
