I hate to give this place such a great rating because I want to keep it a secret for myself. But the owner is really cool and the staff is great. Everything in the room is brand new and clean! This place will not stay secret for very much longer so get in while you can.

Nice guys running the place. Very accommodating and helpful. Tiny shower and toilet room, but everything seemed new and clear. Will come again. Not sure why there was a beaten up old sofa in one of the carports. Made me want to get an ax and be done with it in 20 minutes.

Aging small stucco hotel kind of near downtown and beach. Does not look like pictures. Chose because of "indoor pool". Pool is not indoor, it is outdoor, unheated with a scrub brush floating in it. Jacuzzi was also outside, cold, and control knob broken with wires sticking out. Room was small with tiny bathroom. Some superficial updates like new cheap drawers/ shelves/ shower doors and TV. Ceiling smoke detector missing, bare wires sticking out of ceiling. Old heater worked but noisy. Bedding, towels looked old, basic but ok clean. Small dorm fridge on floor smelled musty like everything. Office and free parking are in back, behind overflowing garbage can and broken fountain with stagnant water.

There was nothing to like at check in, after 2 different rooms the non smoking still smells like smoking. I given one set of towels when i ask for more, i couldn't get it... i had to get my own. The room smells old and dusty . After I checked out in person and left there facility. I was chardged 105.00 extra for what I dont know. I will be getting pretty legal and serious with this additional cost. How dare they run my card out of my presence.

Easy access to parking. Superb employees! made us feel welcome. the hot tub was broken and the pool looked like it was inside on the website. but we didn't swim because it was too cold as an outside pool. floors needed a mopping. Walking around in our socks showed how dirty the floors were. only one of our rooms had a musty odor. Over all, the two day stay was family and pet friendly. we felt safe and cared for. A fun stay in Santa Cruz.

The owners are so nice! Really great bed and very clean. Location is great, and nice to have the indoor pool onsite. Call ahead if you really want to use the hot tub to make sure it's working...it's the only thing that was unavailable during our stay. Very dog friendly!

This hotel is run by a young couple. They were extremely friendly. The entire hotel has just been renovated inside and everything is brand new and really cute. It was close to the boardwalk, easy access from the freeway. It was affordable as well, as they are trying to increase their exposure and popularity. It is really a hidden gem! I highly recommend it!

This is an older property in a great location that has been very nicely renovated by the young owners, who takes great pride in the new improvements. It is not a luxurious place, but it is very clean and safe, with decent amenities, very good service, easy street access,, and comfortable beds. We visit Santa Cruz frequently as our daughter lives here, and we were very happy to find a place that felt like home
