“We spent two nights at the Isle of Skye Guest house. The check-in was done via codes but there was staff onsite. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It would have been nice to have an in-room mini fridge but we did have access to a microwave in the common rooms. I loved the common rooms.”

“Reading other reviews I was a bit worried about staying here but it was great. I had a huge room with a seaview and big modern bathroom with lovely Scottish toiletries. I thoroughly enjoyed a hot bath after a cold day out on the bike. They have a big indoor room around the back of the hotel where you can store your bike. Huge comfortable bed and the room was comfortably warm. Busy, friendly bar and restaurant and I had a lovely steak pie for dinner. Very much enjoyed my stay here.”

“Nice, simple, clean room in Benbecula, South Uist. The innkeeper was very welcoming and friendly. There is a nice hotel restaurant a short walk away from the Hebridian Stay. We would stay here again the next time we visit south/north Uist.”

“Die Unterkunft war gar nicht schön, das Haus ist völlig heruntergekommen, die Qualität des Frühstücks ist miserabel. Es gibt Filterkaffee aus einer Warmhalte-Kanne….In der Dusche könnte sich kein Mensch über 60 Kilo umdrehen und die Betten sind so schief wie der Boden. Die Aussicht aus dem Restaurant ist wunderschön, aber das ist auch alles. Als wir parken wollten und ein Paar fragten, ob der Parkplatz frei würde, sagten sie „nein, leider müssen wir bleiben“. Es ist also offensichtlich nicht nur……

“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.”
