“South Point resort is very nice, but it is far from the calming beaches and activities in Barbados. They don’t offer complementary shuttle service to the beaches or airport thus far each taxi or Uber is 30 US dollars per Way. If this hotel is in a different location, it will be every bit of a five. If you’re looking for tranquility and to stay in your room then yes it’s a five but if you’re looking for other activities, you probably wanna stay more inland. Hotel staff is excellent and so is……

“The property is centrally located, especially for Oistins. It is located off Lodge Road, so it’s on a bus route with buses readily available for going to Bridgetown and surrounding areas. The host was impeccable. Wi-Fi was reliable and consistent.”

“Hotel needs modern upgrades to rooms. The rooms are very outdated. The bedding needs to be washed and changed before every guest. Everything on the bed should be stripped not just the sheets. A microwave in the room or even bar/lobby area would be awesome accommodation for guest. Food was expensive at the onsite restaurant ($100 US for 1 person) but it is located right on the beach which was nice.”

“I booked this apartment late afternoon, and arrived promptly after booking. The host Greg was fantastic. He was friendly and extremely helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. He made sure I had everything I needed and settled me into the apartment with all the info I needed. WiFi was fast and there was a smart tv too to watch Netflix or Amazon prime. Shower was great. “Hotel staff was nice and hotel was clean. They addressed any issues we may have had immediately. Most rooms are two twin beds. If looking for a king bed that is not to beds pushed together be specific about it. Room had a nice balcony view of the ocean where you can hear the waves crashing against the rocks. No direct beach access due to high tide. Great coffee spot across the street The Cake Lady. Harlequins is a fantastic option for dinner along with a few other near by spots. Take a nice……

“The 2 balconies overlooking the ocean were wonderful, comfortable chairs and hot tub. We spent many hours on the patio listening to the waves and watching the ships and locals swimming. Walking distance to Oistins was nice. Most of the staff was very friendly, Andreah, the bartender really made our stay special - he remembered our drinks, suggested cool things to do, see and eat. The air conditioner was very loud, the shower water temp was hard to control, the hallways and elevator need……
