5/5 overall The sketchy men selling coconut cocktails on the private Crane beach was uncomfortable. Everything else was safe. An earlier notice that my card would be charged 12 hours before we left the resort would be nice because I wanted to pay cash for all my room charges. Management took care of it very professionally though.

The Crane is a beautiful gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The suites are huge and lovely! It has a unique colonial element that is sure to please. The ocean view doesn’t disappoint! And neither does the breakfast :) Definitely not my last time there. BRAVO

Please do not stay here. Terrible value for money. The staff were rude with a consistent attitude of "everything is too much trouble". The room was filthy on arrival and was not cleaned properly once throughout our stay. The phone was broken in our room for four days despite repeated requests for it to be fixed and the WiFi was slow and inconsistent. The beach was unusable due to seaweed (not the hotel's fault) but the two days we wanted to use the Minibus service to a usable beach (30 minutes away) it was cancelled. We were also charged $500 for a trip to an Adventure Park that we did not make and are still awaiting the refund. The charge was made to our card without any consultation at 2.00am on the final morning of our stay. The only redeeming feature was the Guest Relations manager, Tennyson Gill, who was great worked hard to try and rectify our problems but there were just too many and most were outside of his immediate control.

I enjoyed everything about the resort. My only dislike was that I was unable to utilize the US Resort Credit. I was under the impression that this credit would/ could be applied towards incidental charges. However that was not the case at checkout.

I love the eco friendly feel of the hotel and its closeness to the airport. However, i t rained while i was their and the ground was abit slippery therefore i recommend that signs be placed advising guest to wear footwear with some type of grip. And also large signs warning guest zof same
