"Spruce Lodge is off the beaten path, quiet, and secluded. It was clean and the property well-maintained. There was adequate parking but no elevator to the second floor. It is a great rental for visiting Seward, Alaska!"

"The cabin was so cute and had all of the amenities that we needed - including a full kitchen. There was a fire pit and the loft bedding provided a nice dark area to avoid the midnight sun. I wish we had stayed there one more night. The only thing missing was a communal hot tub. "

"The unit was one of a variety of cabins on the property. The layout of the cabin was a bit of a surprise as the listing on Expedia didn’t specifically identify the photos for each cabin. What we missed was a chair or two to sit on other than on the bed, but once seeing the size of the unit, it would be difficult to find room for that. The unit was clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We prepared a meal there. The deck has a lovely forest view which we enjoyed. Management was very responsive. "

"Great location - nestled in wilderness yet close to the town. Great shuttle service - drivers Jimmy & Mike were friendly, helpful and informative. Kathy at front desk arranged our Exit glacier tour when we were not able to get anything since it was the 4th of July. It’s definitely overpriced (400$+ per night) but at least the experience was great! "
