“Cute little property equipped with everything you need, in a beautiful location ”

“A cozy cabin with all the essentials but running water AKA Dry. Comfortable queen bed, pull out couch and a loft with couple of coats which we did not need or used. Small fridge and microwave. Chuck had a freezer in the cabin and allowed us to store our salmon during the stay. Chuck and Dorothy were gracious in setting up a propane cook top outside and also provided a pot, pan, dishes and cutlery which were perfect for the two of us making breakfast and dinner. Soldotna was only 18 minutes by……

“The beds were comfortable but we needed more blankets! A few times the water in the shower was unstable and would quickly move from very hot to cold and was a little frustrating. The view of the lake and the beautiful trees around were quite pleasant. It was nice to have a bonfire provided nearby and if we had more time we wanted to kayak on the lake with the lone duck. There was not room to fit all of the trash so we had to bring one bag with us to dump somewhere else. Make sure you're aware……

She texed me when the cabin was ready and how to access the cabin and were to park. After we arrived and got settled in was out on the porch when Joy and Tom stopped by and introduced themselves. They let us know about the property and how to access the river. Tom and his dad even came down to check on us when we……

“Excellent option for anyone needing a home base in Cooper Landing or an early morning start on the river. Two clean bedrooms and 4 beds with full kitchen and grill for a reasonable price. Amazing view of and access to the Kenai River! Only drawbacks are: road noise since you are on the busy Sterling Highway and no table inside to play games or sit everyone around for a meal. Outside picnic table is provided. Also, step up into the bedroom and bath area from the LR/kitchen is a bit hazardous……
