Timeless memories of sitting on the front deck of our own log cabin in the woods taking in the sights, sounds and scents of the kenai bush. The host gave us a tour of all of his custom built cabins that he has on the property and was thoughtful enough to gift us a bottle of champagne for my girlfriend’s birthday. “The cabin was clean and tidy but the sleeping areas were lacking . The blankets on the full bed in the "bedroom " were extremely thin and had a burn mark on them . This room was VERY cold , even with all doors open and a space heater going . The loft area has a comfortable bed but it is like hanging out on the surface of the sun up there .
