"Murphy's Alaskan Inn was a great place to stay before boarding our cruise. The staff was excellent and very helpful (housekeeping & front desk). The room was very clean and well maintained (much better than the chain hotel we stayed at in Anchorage). The only thing I think the hotel could do to improve is if they were able to provide a shuttle to the cruise port; however, the even without the shuttle the front desk staff was very helpful with helping us figure out the best way to the cruise port and even kept an eye out for our taxi when we decided to go that route. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Seward."
