“We were a family traveling to Chicago and stayed here for a total of four nights. The indoor swimming pool was open, but the hotel itself felt extremely hot and stuffy. On our second night, the air conditioning broke down, making it impossible to sleep. Around 11:00 PM, we went to the front desk, and they changed a room for us without much explanation. However, on our fourth night, we discovered the air conditioning in the new room had stopped working again. By that point, we were simply too……

“It was a honeymoon trip. We spent 2 nights at Hotel Blake. Before our check-in, I texted them through the app about our late check-in, and the concierge was so responsive. Beds were good; Wi-Fi worked; room temp adjustable. Lots of storage/drawer space and furniture surfaces. Good bedside charging……

“It's a nice hotel in a good location. The spaces are a little small but adequate. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. My only real compliant is the lack of free brewed coffee but we did get a $10/day voucher to use to buy coffee in the lobby cafe. I would say the lobby cafe is a weak point that the hotel probably has no association with.”

“The breakfast was very generous—but above all, the dining environment was very comfortable.”
