"Such a cozy little cottage. Perfect stay and walking distance to the shops in town. Host has BlueBell ice cream for guest that stay and we sat on porch in the rockers eating our Bluebell. The cottage is decorated so cute and has everything you need for a perfect little getaway."

"From the moment you walk in you know this place is full of peace and quiet. Stayed here for respite from the hustle and bustle of Round Top and that’s what we received. Chris, the owner, is the master host that she is. The place was super clean and extremely organized. We didn’t want for anything. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. "First of all, the house was amazingly spotless. Secondly, Chris offered top-notch customer service and stayed on the phone with me while I struggled with the key box (user error) and even offered to come over to help me. Luckily, I was able to figure it out. There are also little goodies all over the house that are available to guests, and that was a lovely little addition. "It was a great place to visit our two students and reunite with our family from out of state. The kitchen was gorgeous and roomy. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths with all updated furnishings was just what we needed. "

"It was very quiet and beautiful setting. Easy to find but last stretch was a gravel road but ok I am 85 and didn’t feel safe to take a shower. No handle bars. And friend with me had trouble turning the shower on. I did like the window unit in the bedrooms. Kept really cool on that hot night. Bed was very comfortable. "

"Cabin was clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay. Loved the front porch, just wish the back yard wasn’t so wet; we couldn’t use the fire pit. It is a very secluded location and a bit of a drive to get to a store or restaurant. "

"We stayed at this rental for our daughter's A&M ring day weekend. The drive back and forth to campus is pretty direct and not bad at all. The rental was super clean and decorated very nice! Beds were comfortable. If you plan on cooking there and have more than 2 - 3 people bring extra utensils. Kristen was a great host and very responsive. We found time to enjoy the nice outdoor space on the property but never saw the lake :) We hope to stay here again for a Roundtop weekend."
