“The property is beautiful. It was rainy so we didn't get to walk it this time. The house is very clean. Everything for cooking is provided. We even had awesome muffins waiting for us. The host is very prompt with check in information. This is our 3rd time to stay there. We will be back next year!”

“Great for getting out in nature! Absolutely loved the decor and shower. Also really great for dogs; there was even a towel for dogs. Beautiful property, roughly 20 mins from downtown Bastrop/Bastrop State Park. Perfect for outdoorsy people (especially city-dwellers wanting some fresh air). Lots of dishes/cooking utensils, a coffee bar, fire pit, and plenty of seating as well!”

“This was exactly what we needed. A quiet, calm, relaxed 4 days in paradise. The home is spacious, clean,and very well-appointed. We lacked for NOTHING. We were here to celebrate my husband's birthday, and we will be back in November for mine. James is an amazing host and responded to our one request within hours. If we had the money, we would buy this place to live in. FYI, our golden retriever, Angel, finally had a chance to roam around without a leash and loved every second! I can't praise……

“Very nice place to stay right off the road. Walkable to brewhaus and some other food & drink places. The room was nice and big, bed comfy. The only thing was walking into the bathroom, the floor dropped down a little and not great for people with knee issues. Should warn about this or fix it.”

“multiple cockroaches are everywhere in my room. Best estimates I would say I have seen 10-15. They are small, moving around fast. They went into my food so I have to trash it. Such a nasty hotel room is a symbol of, I don’t know what to say precisely, nightmare. I hardly recall I had this kind of room experience before. The breakfast is most nothing. Building is old. ”
