“We were on a roadtrip from Edinburgh to Isle of Skye and picked this place randomly as a good stopping point to make headway on the drive. One of the best decisions we ever made and by far my favorite place we stayed at during the whole trip. The whole place is beautiful, inside and outside. We stayed at one of the riverside rooms and had a balcony where we could sit and watch the river. The surrounding areas are great for a morning walk and everyone is generally quiet. The staff were friendly……

“Having stayed here some years ago and Stopped in over the years the coffee we were looking forward to our stay in what is a beautiful area. The hotel has obviously changed hands and now employs overseas workers who, although they are willing to serve struggle with english and so every request is difficult. The hotel does not seem to have been cared for and needs some redecoration and simply diy e.g broken window blinds in dining room. The bed was very uncomfortable (you could feel the springs).……
