“The first thing you notice about the house when you walk in is the great clean smell and comfort of the air without the high humidity. The house is a perfect size for my family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. All you need for a great stay is provided. There are beach chairs, beach cart, and boogie boards plus 2 coolers. We only used the cart to take our stuff to the bottom of the steps in the morning and to bring it back in the afternoon. The house is located in a low-key area that is not so……

“Our family of 4 and our dog had a great vacation at this property! It was the best view ever and a nice neighborhood. The host was excellent with communication. Definitely would put this place on our list of favorites!”

“Bed unmade with sheets taking a long time to drive. We were able to find fitted sheet and pillow cases with marker stains (but clean). Only 1 towel available. Rest were in dryer with sheets and were unable to be dried. Property could have stood some extra cleaning (sandy, leftover food in fridge/freezer, plates/cups needed a bit more thorough washing as well as bathroom, etc). The host was very speedy in his responses as well as apologetic and did try his best to resolve the bedding situation……

“The house is incredible and served our family well. We had all ages from 6 months to adults and it worked well for everyone. Nicely appointed inside and out. The pool area was the favorite. Nicest house in North Topsail as far as we could see! Rebooked for next year.”

“Magical venue! Guests from all over the country drove or flew in. Plenty of parking for the drivers and proximity of airport(s) made it a breeze. Beautiful rooms and amenities! Local professionals with whom we worked were familiar with this gorgeous venue making the wedding "production" so much easier. All the guests were thrilled with the accommodations, enjoyed the pool, the beach, and did I mention the Tiki Bar! So fun! Property manager, Greg gave us so many helpful suggestions. Most……

“Stories By The Sea is a great property. Situated right in the beach, it is beautifully decorated and offers stunning views. The house is well appointed and EVERYTHING is labeled for your convenience. We had a wonderful time and hope to return next year.”

“The beach access is fantastic!! House was very clean and well equipped. Loved the outside shower. Beds, linens were very comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay! Some maintenance items need to be addressed: 1. Downstairs tub drain does not drain well and needs to be cleared. 2. Downstairs tub handheld sprayer leaks-needs to be tightened. 3. Master showerhead pipe is not attached to the wall at all. 4. Third tread from the bottom on the upper stairs is loose. This is a tripping hazard. ”

“Had a great time. We were 20 of us on a family trip. The hosts Richard & Jenifer were prompt in responding to any questions or concerns. The Air conditioner on the top floor broke down one evening but was fixed the next morning. Overall a good trip.”

“I have stayed at this property many times. I absolutely love it. It feels like a home away from home. It's far enough away from everything but close enough to where you can go out and about if you so desire. Even when the weather is not so nice, having the balcony to be able to still enjoy the ocean view is wonderful.”
