We were in town for a family reunion. Most out of towm family members are repeat patrons of the Hampton Inn Swansboro

While Swansboro Historic District might not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Cedar Point Tideland Trailhead and Hammocks Beach State Park.

Very nice but I was taken aback that I had to pay $10 a day to park there! Never heard of that before!

After visiting Hammocks Beach State Park Visitors Center, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Swansboro. Amble around this relaxing area's beaches, or seek out the campsites.

Very beautiful area
Nice town.
We found a great restaurant the "Boro" a local mom and pop. The food was off the hook good. You can eat inside or out. There are several little shops up and down this street and they had a free outside concert the night we were visiting. Very nice
Love the area but so sad to see all the damage from hurricane Florence
