“Quick drive to Tanglewood. Very quiet. Great price!”

“The pictures shown on your site are not representative of this motel. We pulled into the drive and turned around and left without even checking in. There was debris leaning on the building outside of several rooms, the landscaping and parking lot was over grown. You could not even see the pool from how overgrown the weeds and bushes are. If the outside is this unkempt there was little expectation of the condition of the rooms. So disappointing that the online photos are so deceptive.”

“This was an amazing experience. Both of us loved it. It's definitely off the beaten path, but the rooms are spotless and beautifully maintained. The staff is friendly. They've got a great restaurant. We didn't try it, but it looks great, and we were able to work outside at the tables when it wasn't very busy. This is a diamond in the rough. There isn't a refrigerator or microwave, but that's fine. The restaurant is there, and there are other conveniences near enough by. A really great place. Our……

“Worst motel ever. the front desk lady is extremely rude. It was a very cold night, the bed blanket on bed is thin, 10:30 PM. I came to front desk to try to get another thicker blanket, but nobody was there. I nocked the door, ring the bell, called the phone. Nobody answered. Until 11:00 PM, she came out from inside. She was very unhappy that I disturbed her. She said there is no additional blanket in the motel. What ? You run a motel business and no blanket? I questioned her,  And she changed……

“Unfortunately the power went out around 10 pm and never came back on by the time we left at 7 am. We tried reaching out to staff at the Red Lion, the parent company of the Little Lion. No one picked up the phone nor responded to our message. We had no power, no lights, no water, no A/C. Other than not being able to get a hold of staff our stay was very good.”

“Convenient location, super clean and nicely decorated. We were in town to visit Tanglewood and didnt stay long enough to enjoy the area. Would definitely come back and find some time to enjoy the porch.”

“Pictures on the internet made it appear to be an Inn. It was actually a motel just above route 7. Tricky taking a left onto a 4 lane highway to get to Lenox but doable. Room was clean, air conditioned, comfortable and great staff. Few minor issues: 1. Bathroom fan didn't work and one of the charge ports on the shared bedside table was dead. I would recommend if all the cute Inns in Lenox are full.”

“Nice quiet place”

“Staff was very helpful particularly Jerry in outside cafe. Grounds keeper did a beautiful job! Outdoor pool was amazing! Will be back to swim in in the winter. Loved the shops located in the main building. We stayed in Maple Glen which was lovely. I was disappointed my room was dark but now know to ask for a sunnier room when booking.”

“Hotel was clean and staff helpful and courteous. Hotel is a little tired (showing it's age) but I would certainly not hesitate to book a future stay.”

“Stayed two nights. Killed 2 milipedes, 1 centipede, some kind of bug that might have been a silverfish, and a bee in the bedroom/room without ever having opened a window. We stayed over a very busy 250th July 4th weekend so I didn't bother making a complaint because I'm sure if there was another room available it would not be any better, otherwise they would have put us there to begin with. They list the hotel as a resort so you pay an extra fee each night, but you gather the trash from the room……
