“Great communication with the place. House and room were clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom. Enjoyed the snacks in the room. Breakfast was very good and very friendly staff. Short walk to the nice downtown. Only drawback is you have to go to the house next door for coffee and breakfast. Would be nice to have coffee in our room or in the house. Overall very pleased with our stay.”

“Convenient to my organized bicycling tour end 4/26 at Hampton Inn Elizabeth City (other hotels in the area were fully booked). Noisy — only 40 meters away from busy hwy US-17 and a high-pitched sound that seems to come from the room’s fridge/freezer; Bring earplugs. Pros: efficient fridge/freezer; business-like staff; clean (except for some stray pet hair). Cons: no security latch on door; in my room 112, unrepaired damage from previous guests — missing shower head (unpleasant to use, to say the……

“The beds were comfortable, room is a little outdated. Bathroom was ok. I could tell it had not been cleaned lately there was hair in the shower. All and all for the price it was ok ”

“The Teacherage was very quiet, clean and relaxing. The hostess was accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast on the side porch in a country setting with birds and trees.”
