“We stayed at this cabin in Wayland, NY from July 12–15 with two adults, four kids, and zero regrets. The place was peaceful, well-stocked, and surprisingly private, considering the houses are right next to each other—we barely saw another soul all weekend (except for some ants, but more on them later). The check-in process was extremely simple.The view of the lake was beautiful—especially during a rainstorm. We spent ages just swinging on the porch, watching the rain fall on the water and ripple……

“What a great place to stay! Very clean, cozy and peaceful. The hosts were great communicators and provided a great environment for my visit! l loved walking around the pond, drinking from the working pump and relaxing around the fire. ”

“We enjoyed a wonderful family getaway making memories with an age range from 3-79. The open space and large kitchen allowed us to prepare meals and enjoy them together comfortably. The view from the back patio was amazing. The game room with the shuffleboard was a favorite! We were also able to enjoy local breweries, wineries, and the town of Hammondsport. It was a perfect house for our large group.”

The fire pit was really nice as is the view from the river.Close, zip zip to finger, lakes region, and Corning Museum of Glass, but best of all,An old-fashioned ice cream stand just beyond the front yard! “Our family travels require wheelchair accessible facilities and this house was perfect. Ease of access in/out of property and the bathroom was very accessible. Coffee on the deck in the morning looking over vineyards and the lake was great.”

“We had a wonderful time. The house and area is beautiful the lake was great. We went fishing in the kayaks every day. We caught a bunch of Bass, Perch, and Pickerel. It was just wonderful to sit on the deck and watch the lake. ”
