The Cabin Getaway

We want you to feel right at home staying at our family cabin.

The Private cabin located at 3425 Demun Rd, which happens to be a maintained seasonal road surrounded by 60 acres. You will most likely see some dear and turkeys and even bears, so enjoy the wildlife.

You have your own pond to fish, and swim. There is even a large slide for the everyone. Located on a dirt road and low traffic very secluded. You can bring your pets, if they are part of your family they are welcome.

We are in the center of everything that the Southren Tier of NY has to offer, wineries, Keuka Lake 30 min drive, Watkins Glenis a 45 min drive, Coring Museum of Glass 20 min drive.

Enjoy the outdoor patio and lounge in the Hammock. Stay for the hunting season, (with owners permission for hunting land) and hunt nearby State Lands.

At night just relax by a camp fire, i do provide some firewood but i would like to ask if you are able to bring some for stays longer than 2 nights. You can watch a movie on our 70 inch tv with surround sound. There are several things for the children to do. We have corn hole boards, kayaks ,football table and board games if it’s a rainy day.
For those who wish to book for a party, reunion or wedding there is a great Tiki bar that is perfect for all occasions. Plenty of parking for all. Special rates for party’s over 15 people.

Remember we are off the beaten path and you are on VACATION so, the reception on cell phones may or may not work. Verizon seems to be the best in the area. Basic TV with no Netflix or streaming. This may seem like an inconvenience but believe me once you have arrived, you will find that you can live without all that technology or Wi-Fi.

We have a full kitchen that is supplied with all the cooking utensils, pot and pans and even spices to barbecue on the patio. The propane is also provided,
We supply the blankets, linens, towels and laundry soap for your stay and TP.

For your security, I have put in a wall safe to store your valuables. If you want to use I will send you the code. No charge for use.

Great, Private Cabin
The property is beautiful. We really enjoyed the game/sitting area under the cabin. The zip line, the slide and the hot tub were great. Our only issues were that we needed to fill the hot tub as the water level was quite low and there was no smoke detector that we could see.

Great location and awesome place to bring dogs
Mary has a great set up. We loved being able to bring our dogs and let them run around and explore the property. It was the perfect weekend space to relax and unwind. My own complaint is the booking is listed as a “private and peaceful stay” however while we were there about 6 side-by-sides drove up the private driveway and hung out for 30-40 minutes at the top of the hill. It wouldn’t have been a big deal if we would’ve had a heads up. We had dogs running around and a baby trying to sleep. In addition to the side by sides we have two other trucks on multiple occasions again go up the private driveway.

Peaceful Stay
Mary was such a sweet host. We had a late arrival and she had the wood stove started for us and some lights on so we didn’t arrive in the dark. She was great with communication. We had a wonderful, peaceful stay and it was just what we were looking for. We can’t wait to bring our kids back in the summer to enjoy the amazing amenities.

A great place to make memories
A great place for an isolated get away and relaxing stay. It was just what my wife and I were looking for, but you could so easily imagine the wonderful larger family gatherings that have and can happen at this property.

Very quiet little getaway.We were greeted with music playing in little outdoor tiki hut. Everything you need is here just bring food and drinks. Bedding was all nice and fresh and smelled wonderful. A little bit more time could have been taken to clean overall area before arrival.

Great time for our family
My husband and I brought our large family here for a week vacation out of town. It was quiet, clean, private and exactly as listed. We have teenagers who kept busy on the pond. Kayaks and fishing were a lot of fun. The house and patio were accommodating and thoughtful. Great time. Will probably book again.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Our 3 children were outside playing sun up to sundown! The cabin was clean and cozy and the outdoor patio is all set up for fun. We all enjoyed our stay and hope to go back next summer!

Arrived at property to find food and drinks left in every storage place. Found property little more ran down than pictures led us to believe. Wasn't expecting Ritz but pictures dont display enough. Found dead moths an other bugs in kids bed. Condom wrapper under full size bed. Mouse dropping in bathroom. Listing stated 20 minutes from watkins glen. Took almost an hour. Contacted host after we left regarding a 1 day credit. Still haven't received that or an update on if thats still happening. Lesson learned and will be awhile before booking with VRBO. For experience we had could have put a tent up in a campground and had same experience.

Just like heaven!
This is my new happy place. The property is great, has just about everything you could ever want, and you could tell that the owner took great pride in making your stay fabulous, and we really appreciated that. Sadly, we couldn't use almost any of the outdoor amenities because it ended up cold and rainy while we visited, but that just gives us a reason to go back! The only thing that wasn't provided that we needed were instructions for the zipline and hot tub. Once we were home, we were able to look things up and get some clarification. I would recommend reading about how a harness works before going if you want to use it. I am grateful for the host making this the best mini vacay we've ever taken. Thank you!

Bachelorette party
I rented Mary’s property for 2 nights to celebrate my sister’s bachelorette party with 5 of our friends. When my sister arrived at the house she was immediately impressed and asked me “how did you find this place?!” Followed by “I would love to come back with family!”. The property was very secluded so we had tons of privacy and the opportunity to be as loud as we pleased. The zip line, pond, and outdoor bar were fantastic and perfect for our celebration. Unfortunately it appeared as tho the hot tub was broken, we couldn’t get it to heat up and the jets wouldn’t stay on for more a minute at a time. I’m not sure that we would've used it anyways because the water was foggy, had a greenish tint, and smelled very off putting. We managed to have a wonderful time regardless and would love to return to the property. It was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Mary was super friendly and responded quickly to any questions that I had. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate my sister’s bachelorette party at your property, she had an amazing time.

Perfect!
We came from Lancaster Pa, to visit family in the area. The property had EVERYTHING you could ask for! And then some! When we arrived patio lights were on and music was playing. Everything about our trip was fantastic! The kitchen is well appointed, amenities were plentiful. The ONLY minor inconvenience was all of the food and beverages that had been left in the refrigerator and freezer areas. Certainly nothing worth complaining about! The outside areas are PERFECTION! We had a minor plumbing issue, but certainly no one can anticipate such a thing happening. Rain or Shine this place has something for everyone at all times! Would highly recommend and would love to go back. However, NY taxes are extraordinarily high, which adds a significant amount to the total :(

Amazing get away with a catch
The property is a nice little spot secluded from everything and everyone. The owner/manager of the property is very responsive and attentive to anything you may need or ask for. Only thing we weren’t fans of was the amount of spiders everywhere outside which isn’t really anyone’s fault just nature. Inside was mostly bug free with the exception of a few we found but the actual place was very neat and clean. The downstairs hang out area is really nice with a tv, a few games and a great view. I just wish there was a way to close up the sides at night… we had unwelcome visitors every night we were there so bring anything edible inside for the night.

This property was absolutely gorgeous, the pond wraps around the whole cabin and is very good fishing. We went here for our anniversary and it will be one to save for sure. Mary was great it was very easy to get in and very easy instructions on leaving and locking down.
