Hard to control temperature in the yurt. Very good set up for visiting the area. Saw elk almost every day outside the yurt. The management was very good about taking care of the cable outage

Staying in a yurt was a unique experience for us. I believe it can be compared to sleeping in a tent in terms of hearing birds singing and other sounds of nature but without sacrificing the convenience of modern life like full bathroom and a kitchen. Our yurt (Green Ash) was very spacious for a couple, clean and stocked with everything we might need for our four night stay. It is self check-in, all the information was provided to us well in advance.

Quite area, decent Mountain View’s, wildlife galore, only complaint is shower is an RV type and very small! Customer service and correspondence was easy and just a text away! Would recommend staying here if your looking for a camping like experience with all the amenities!

I absolutely loved this property! I didn’t want to leave!! Location was perfect. Bull frogs, birds even the light rain was relaxing. We stayed in the Mountain Laurel Yurt and it was amazing. Clean, upgraded, very luxurious! We had two elk wander in to drink from the pond and they were so beautiful! I highly recommend this property and can’t wait to return!

I have been coming to Maggie Valley my whole life (grandfather is born and raised there) and this was probably one of my favorite rentals. Clean, great location without being too far up a mountain but still privacy for relaxation. Will be looking forward to stay here again in the future.
