“We went to Texas for the eclipse 2024 and had a wonderful time at the retreat. Jennifer was super nice and even provided us with two pairs of eclipse glasses, as well as with delicious snacks in the morning. We watched the eclipse together with her and other guests. We got lucky with the cloud coverage and had an amazing time. Our room was at the back of the retreat. It was super cozy and extra quiet. We would absolutely stay there again!”

“We really enjoyed our stay and the dinner was fantastic! Perfect location to get away from the stress of the busy city. The cleanliness of the cabin was lacking and I would prefer taking showers vs baths. There was a keurig in the cabin but there were no k-pods. There was a bucket on top of the microwave but it had trash in it. But just my opinion. All in all was a great stay and did I mention the food...wonderful!”

“We didn't get to take full advantage of the surrounding area of our cabin as it stormed all day Saturday. But, we had a great weekend. It was myself and 2 granddaughters, age 19 and 16. I carried food to cook on the grill, but because of the rain, couldn't do that. The cabin was equipped with 2 gas burners that made it easy to cook indoors. I have been to other cabins in the woods and could not use our phones or watch tv. This cabin had a tv with vcr and video cassette player and the wifi worked……

“We had a great time on our state tournament weekend. The house was beautiful! 4 couples shared it and there was plenty of space for everyone. The layout is fantastic. Even when cooking breakfast and dinner several of us were in the kitchen at once and we were not in each other's way. The view is gorgeous and we had fun fishing at the dock. Definitely would recommend this house for a getaway with a bigger family or a few friends.”
