Upon Friday arrival, entered gate and the brick walk to the front door was covered in sand and dirt. The Lakeland home was wonderful and the property owners were very quick to answer questions! They even bought extra kitchen supplies for us to have during our stay (we were cooking a lot since it was Thanksgiving). The kids had a blast learning how to play pool and we all enjoyed s’mores at the firepit ...

You can spend an afternoon exploring the galleries in Mexia Public Schools Museum during your trip to Mexia. Stroll along the riverfront or visit the monuments while you're in the area.

Go to the Coffee Cabaret on Paris Street for a delicious lunch or favorite morning beverage.
