“Super friendly and quick check in. Prompt room change when the room key wasn't working. Excellent spa facilities - notably the thermal pool. Good range of breakfast options (the pancakes from the kitchen order options were fab). Good quality food for evening meal in the dining room. The location speaks for itself - fantastic. ”

“We were very pleasantly surprised on arriving at the Boutique Hotel. We were warmly greeted with a glass of Prosecco. Our suite was so much better than we had expected. In addition to the bedroom there was a room with a table for meals, a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and a Sauna. Our suite did not have a 'hot tub', which the other suites had, but that did not concern us.The Breakfast menu was excellent and food was cooked to order. Dinner was available but had to be ordered by 5.30pm. We……

“The Swan at Grasmere was very welcoming, well kept and comfortable with friendly accommodating staff. The breakfast was lovely however we did feel the evening meal was their weakest aspect. The restaurant is lovely but one of our meals had over cooked chips and my husband’s meal was supposed to be pie of the week (beef) but was a surprise when he cut into it and got chicken! The staff quickly addressed this and brought a whole new meal. We did feel the cost of food and drinks was expensive……

“Very quiet, cozy & comfortable Inn. Although located in a remote area of Lake District, easy to find & can reach other spots easily. Must try the dinner at the restaurant which is very good with reasonable price. Only the towel rack in my room is not working which is a minor stuff. Furthermore everything in the breakfast seems overcooked.”
