“It’s very nicely located in a central part of the town. They also had free parking onsite making it easy for us to walk the town and not worry about our vehicle. ”

“The passion fruit margarita was so good! Not sure about any other drinks as that was second in so I stopped reading. Great hotel. Bathroom floor material seemed a little slippery. Sunday carvery was very good staff so accommodating, especially Rossein and the blond girl also working. Breakfast was good too. My husband loved the in room espresso machine. The bed very comfy. Room a little stuffy but when we asked about a fan on checkout we were assured we could have asked for one. Bartenders were……

The door to the patio wouldn’t lock and a bathroom sink drain was stuck. We reported the problems and they were not repaired before the end of the stay. We did have an enjoyable visit overall. The golf course and hotel were very beautiful and well maintained. We really liked the space and it worked out well for our group.”

“The Grooms Cottage was a rustic wonderful stay. It is in the country but really not far from shops. Having only 1 bathroom was a little difficult in the morning with 5 adults but they are working on an upstairs one, it just wasn't ready for our stay. I definitely would come back to the Grooms Cottage!”

“Everything about Tankardstown is top notch, from the bubbly welcome you receive to every interaction with the most accommodating staff. We loved our two-level, lovely decorated cottage room that included a small kitchen. If you can get a room, don't hesitate to book. You'll love it. Next time I return I'm staying as long as I can!”
