The Space:
Blue Bird Hideaway is nestled on the Indian Point peninsula of Branson, an especially popular location for its many marinas, campgrounds, bars, restaurants, and proximity to Table Rock Lake and Downtown Branson. Another of Branson’s top attractions, the 61-acre amusement park Silver Dollar City, is so close you’ll have views of its tallest rides from this property. Inside Blue Bird Hideaway, you’ll be immediately welcomed by a neutral-toned design and open concept layout filled with natural light. Relax and unwind in the living room with seating arranged around an electric fireplace and smart tv. Seamless indoor to outdoor living will be a theme of your trip, both as you explore and as you hang at home, with additional lounging space just off the living room on an outdoor, covered patio.
Back inside, the kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, a toaster, coffee machine, and blender for you to prepare anything from quick meals on the go, to inspired meals at home. A breakfast bar with barstools is ideal for morning coffee and quick eats, with a more formal dining space located just beyond the kitchen.
This home sleeps 6 guests between two private bedrooms and the queen size sleeper sofa in the living area.
Bedroom #1 is the primary suite with a king size bed, smart tv, direct access to the outdoor patio, and ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, jetted tub, and double vanity.
Bedroom #2 has a king size bed and smart TV.

- A sofa sleeper for 2 is provided in the living area.

Several concerning issues
The property as listed was a two bedroom unit with 2 separate bathrooms. We were on the lowest level. The unit was stocked with cooking supplies, coffee, and other necessities.
Listed Belle are issues that we had with our stay.
Foot traffic from the unit above was awful, it sounded like they were stomping nonstop. Waking up at 5 in the morning from stomping sounds is not relaxing.
There is mold growing in the ceiling in the common bathroom above the shower. I have photos.
There are two doors leading into the common bathroom, one from the hallway and one from the bathroom. The issue with this is that the doors hit each of one of them is opened when you open the other door. As a result the door leading to the hallway is damaged, this is only cosmetic.
The door handle leading into the second bedroom comes off when closing the door.
There is no door stop to prevent the main entry door hitting the interior wall and there is a small hole in the wall from that.
The shower pan in the master bathroom is cracked and it feels like it’s sinking in when taking a shower. It also causes the drain grate to pop up.
The floors were absolutely filthy. Our feet would turn black from walking on them barefoot after taking a shower. You could feel the gritty substance on the floor.
The beds were not the most comfortable and they were very noisy.
The parking situation is difficult to navigate as there is not much room when pulling out of a parking space.

Great location
This was a nice quiet stay, really close to Silver Dollar City. It was nice to have a place really close by when the kids were tired from playing all day. The check in process and quick access to the property manager was seamless. It was pretty clean but definitely has a few items that need repair which the property manager said they would take a look at. The beds and pillows were not very comfortable but everything was in working order.
