“Unfortunately, we ran into a situation with a sick child and had to make a last-minute change of plans. We were well aware that this was inside of the typical timeframe where adjustments to our stay could be made, but the experience we had made us feel undervalued and ignored. There was a complete failure by the host to respond to any form of communication, including multiple phone calls/messages, texts and emails. What if we had been on site, dealing with an issue in our room/unit? The total……

“Was in town for a quick trip for a wedding. Perfect place to stay. M Mammoth distillery was just down the street for a nightcap. And it was lovely to meet Leo.”

“Great classic house with lots of space to sprawl in a small town. Very relaxing. Good restaurants and grocery within 2 blocks.”

“Excellent one night stay at the BW Boutique Hotel in the Amelia room. We had the house to ourselves and enjoyed the spacious living areas and very well equipped kitchen. Definitely would stay there again!”

“The room was clean and comfortable. It looks just as described. Staff friendly. I think it was very affordable and close to everything we wanted to see. It is a real gem. My only issue was the beach access- we only seen a private entrance to it but we didn’t ask if we were allowed to use it. I would definitely stay again!”

“Beautiful view of West Grand Traverse Bay. Crisp clean new sheets of good quality. Table and two chairs in the room created a very nice sitting area plus a comfortable desk chair. Only bad part is that because of the way the fridge and microwave are situated, you cannot see the TV from the sitting area. The TV, by the way, is very nice sized, modern but has no cable TV just free channels. No freezer in the fridge and very limited counter space in the bathroom.”

“No information was given when we checked in. We were not told where the ice was or breakfast or anything. There is a thermostat in the room but it doesn’t work. You have to use the air conditioner with no directions. We could not get the room to cool down and were hot all night. There were not a lot of choices for breakfast other than bread products. We went early and they were out of a lot and there were no workers around. The girl who checked us out was super friendly and I wish she had been……

“The staff was perfect though out our stay. The room was very clean and well stocked. The pool and hot tub were well maintained. We didn't eat breakfast because of other plans but it looked very good with lots of variety.”
