Seems they have done some things but other things are just outright gross like the thick cottage cheese dirty ceiling and the outdated dank bathrooms. At minimum out in normal height toilets. The breakfast buffet was substandard and we walked right out and paid for breakfast elsewhere. The sheets on the pull out bed were dirty, there was a stinking blanket that was probably left by the last guest in the closet, the elevator was broken (we had to carry all our luggage up 3 flights of stairs)and the bathroom ceiling was leaking. It was beautiful on the outside, I love the setup of the room but I will not return. Saw 2 spiders in our room, but I guess they can be anywhere. Great staff. Balcony was very disappointing with view of parking after expecting more water views. Breakfast selections were poor. A lot of history in the building but definitely needs some care.
