“Always a fan of the Railroad Inn for its location and convenience. Only issue on this trip was a crew painting and refurbishing the exterior, which meant scraping old paint and other noises outside the room at 8 a.m.”

“Stayed 2 nights to visit the baseball Hall of Fame. Size of room and bathroom were really nice. Gave us ample space to relax and get ready for the day. We were on a 14 day motorcycle trip and my wife was happy to enjoy a bath since the room had a tub. Bed was very comfortable. Wonderful breakfast options and super friendly staff. Will definitely recommend and stay here again. ”

“The only thing that was a little lack luster was the breakfast and the pool. There wasn’t as many options as I expected and only one or two of the food options were bland, but the food was good otherwise and breakfast is free. Online it said the pool was heated but when we went down to swim it was still pretty chilly. They had an outdoor fire pit, easy access to good Resturants and shopping places. The hotel was clean and spacious and the room had a very large tv that could be adjusted and seen……

“Loved that the property was so close to Cooperstown Dream Park. (5 minute drive). Did not love that everything had to be requested if needed: clean towels, toilet paper replacement, etc. We even emptied our own trash cans and put the trash outside our door. The room rates did not reflect the “do it yourself “housekeeping we performed. Because we stayed a full week, the breakfast menu became monotonous. A little more variety would have been welcome. But again, the distance to the ballfields could……

“My room was bigger than expected and extremely clean. It was one of the best rooms I have stated in quite some time.”

“If you are not looking for this place you will miss it. If you miss it you would be missing out. The place wasn't bad, but the staff was awesome. Paul makes sure you have everything you need, I feel like I made a new friend. The room was redone & had a lot of character with everything you need to enjoy your week at Cooperstown. The bathroom was much bigger than a normal hotel bathroon which was nice. The location was great too. The short drive to CDP is easy, plus you enter from the best……

“The clock in the room was not on and I could not figure out to turn it on. TV stated to press a source button to turn on, did not know that button suggest, put which button is source button on the wall with the WiFi codes.”
