“This is our 2nd trip to Exeter for a University visit. On both occasions we stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott and both tumes we have been impressed by the friendy, helpful staff and how clean and well maintained the hotel is kept. At breakfast there is a fantastic choice of cereal, pastries, fruit. cold meats and a cooked breakfast. ”

“Clean room. Mattress not great very springy and going in all directions and had to ask for a duvet the second night to lie on to get some sleep. This was disappointing Bar good. Booked for dinner but service was sadly lacking, food ok. Outside balcony good to sit outside and staff table service was good Spectacular view from the room and may visit again ”

“Terrible customer service. I was told directly by the hotel that changing my dates would be okay, but when Expedia asked them to issue the waiver needed, they refused. So in reality they said what sounded nice on the phone, then failed to back it up with action. Very misleading and extremely frustrating to deal with. Friendly at first glance, but completely unhelpful when it actually mattered. I would not recommend this hotel.”

“Fabulously views from sea view room. Room massive but small bathroom and somewhat dated but ignored wiith fabulous aspect with balcony. Not clear when booking there was an extra cost for parking. ”

“It's a very friendly hotel. The room was clean & cozy. The restaurant also very good and I didn't need to find a place to eat. Excellent for a night or two and explore the nearby area.”

“A good place to stay. Hotel nicely decorated for christmas and convenient for pier, beach and high street. The room and shower room was clean and beds comfortable. Staff was helpful and cooked breakfast was tasty.breakfast ”

“We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. ”

“When I'm working in Devon I always stay here. Its perfectly comfy and its has good size rooms the parking is free and plentiful even in a large Van you can park around the rear of hotel. Close to tiverton town centre and supermarkets. Staff are very friendly too. ”
