“It was a wonderful, yet too brief, one night stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Our meal in the informal dining/pub options was nourishing and delicious. The room was clean, large, and bright. We were able to get a room facing back garden and with views. A big pot of tea and a freshly pressed coffee were very nice at breakfast. Local walks on the moor, and to the quarry & rocks and were fab.”

“The room was adequate and comfortable for a two night stay, and although rated as a superior room, the photos are somewhat misleading (no easy chairs and table, let alone any space for any, as shown when booking).
