"As a pet friendly hotel, just make sure all furnishings are being checked & cleaned. Our pull out couch still had rawhides inside. The jacuzzi bathtub did not work & we had to move rooms late of the evening. The pool wasnt in working order so we was told we could walk next door to use the pool there."

"Fantastic resort in Blowing Rock. Beautiful grounds, helpful staff and delicious food. Our suite had 2 bathrooms which was a bonus. Will definitely go back!! "

"This was a really good option for a stay in Blowing Rock. My family of 5 had a comfortable stay and the price was very affordable. I would not recommend staying in the summer as there isn't central AC, only a window unit, so it will be uncomfortable for those who are heat intolerant, but for winter temps and reasonable spring and fall temps, this is a really good place to stay. It's gorgeous and there's plenty of room."

"It was a mixed experience. Location is great. The on-site restaurant is outstanding. However, we would not go back here. The sheets were not changed and we noticed hair on the sheets. When we complained, the staff in the front office were nonchalant as if this was normal. They provided us a new sheets. "
