"This property was in a nice location overlooking the lake. From one of the onsens you could see Mount Fuji. We booked a Japanese style room where they make the beds for you daily and it was a fun experience. The staff member we had for our dinners was EXCELLENT and very friendly. The only thing to note is that there isn't much air conditioning in the rooms so prepare for warmer nights."

"Wonderful location for amazing view of Fuji. The grounds are well maintained and Onsen is excellent too. We ate both nights in the hotel and had a superb meal. Regular shuttles to the town centre which finishes at 19.30. recommend if you don't want to be in Kawaguchiko which to be honest is busy and tacky."

"I booked two twin rooms. One room was lovely with a beautiful view over the lake. The other room was like being in a closet! It had one tiny window and was old and tired and was situated at the back of the hotel. I complained but was told the hotel was fully booked. Although when I offered to pay more suddenly a room became available! Disappointing! "

"We stayed at Hotel My.Fuji for one night and had a pleasant overall experience, but it comes with a few important caveats. What worked well: The value for the price is strong, especially given the incredible views of Mt. Fuji. Waking up to that alone made the stay feel special. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast is on the pricier side, but the selection is generous and worth it if you plan to stay on-site. The staff were also genuinely warm and helpful throughout. What to be aware of: The hotel itself feels quite dated, and the bathroom in particular could use a refresh as it felt a bit worn and not as clean as expected. The biggest drawback, though, is the shuttle service. There’s no clear timetable available online, the schedule is limited, and you must reserve in advance. This made it difficult to plan our departure, especially when we wanted to leave early for a bus to Kyoto but couldn’t because the first shuttle wasn’t until around 8:45 AM. Overall: With some updates and a more flexible, clearly communicated shuttle schedule, this could be a great stay. As it stands, it’s best suited for those planning to relax at the hotel rather than come and go frequently."

"My wife and I took the loft and let our two sons stay in the bed below. The bathroom was very quiet and the water was nice and hot. It was very convenient to the train station to the Pagoda and bus terminal back to Tokyo."
