“Royal of Beauregard is a thoughtfully appointed retreat. The older home has been beautifully updated and the hosts offer ample towels, toiletries, cookware, and dishes. We enjoyed the back porch which looks out over a pretty flower and vegetable garden where we watched squirrels, birds, and butterflies. We were surprised how quiet the neighborhood was while still being close to many activities. We hope to stay here again.”

“My dog had surgery at lsu animal hospital and i needed a clean and safe place to stay close to the hospital. This property was 4 miles. Owner also let me check in a little early. Sooo much better tha a hotel. Hope to stay here again!”

“House was fine. Would be careful if female or family. Watched 2 separate dog fights happen in front of the house. Just make sure to lock the doors.”

“All the amenities you could hope for. An enclosed, outdoor kitchen with air conditioning. Large patio to enjoy the river from. And close enough to civilization for gas and groceries or bar/restaurant. Can recommend this place enough. It gets all the stars.”

“We were in town for a dance competition weekend. The Edinburgh Cottage was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay and close to the venue. The check in and check out process was so simple and the yard was perfect when the girls finished their full day of dance and could run of that extra energy and get some sun.”

“The home was really neat and older. It was very clean and easy to find everything. It has everything you need located inside. The only downfall is accessing the alley ways behind the house because they are small and construction was going on. We would stay again though.”

“My husband was in the area for work and this was perfect location for his 5 week stay. Said the place was perfect. Easy to get to everything he needed on his one day off each week. Owners/daughter are beautiful people, will definitely be staying again if the chance arises that i come back to the area for work again.”

From being able to cook your own food to getting a comfortable sleep in the bed, I highly recommend this place.”
