"Beautiful spot inside and out. Super easy to check in and out. Very clean and pretty close to the main hub by car but a bit scary to drive down at night so bring enough food. I can only imagine when the trees outside blossom and how beautiful that would look. I guess I need to come back 😉 "

They change the men's/women's periodically, so make sure to experience both! I especially appreciated the fine touches that gave me a small smile - the same artist who made the flower vases also made the coffee cups in the lounge :) And the coffee was excellent."

"The Hinanosato was renovated about 6-8 years ago and it is an amazing place to stay - the decor is heavy on 60's themes which gives it a mellow / laid back feel. The staff are great, the breakfasts were wonderful and our room had a spectacular view of the Mikuma river. Parking on site is very limited but they have a couple parking lots nearby that can be used. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"It is a quite place. The room is big, clean and tidy. It is a good place for me to stay in Ukiha. The bed is big and comfortable. It is nearby the Ukiha Rest Area where I can buy fresh fruit, breakfast, tea leave, ...etc. There is a small laundry room. I didn't notice that there is tissue in the washing machine. And my clothes were come out with snow flake! I would recommend the hotel staff to have a check regularly."

"From the very start the staff was very nice, even though we weren't the best tourists. We stayed a short time, and in that tike the staff was friendly, despite our Faux Pas and were willing to help us with arranging luggage forwarding. The room we booked was very clean and offered coffee, tea, and ice water in our rooms which we were free to use. The mats we slept on we comfortable and had plush blankets that almost kept us TOO warm during the cool Spring nights. The Onsens though were the star of the show. We had two private Onsen attached to our room, one that was inside and one that was Open-Air. Both were incredible to be in and legitimately helped myself and my travel companion with aches and pains during the trip. I can't recommend this place enough. Must go Onsen if you find yourself in Hita."

"Breakfast was an outstanding multi course meal with great attention to detail, variety, and freshness. The staff are helpful and accommodating and eager to make the stay exceptional. The outdoor baths are set in amongst a beautiful forest and the water is clear and without sulfur. We were in room 206 which had 2 large comfortable beds as well as a couch and chair making it the perfect room to spend time in. The hotel is about a 5 minute cab ride from the center of town and takes you away from the touristy area. A cab is readily available if required and we also enjoyed the 30 minute walk through the countryside to the town. The hotel is homey and comfortable like an English establishment with many areas to sit inside and outside to relax. We did not try the dinners as we wanted to experience the local atmosphere and restaurants but based upon the amazing breakfast we think that the dinners would be excellent. "
