“We had a picture perfect stay at the Bear House in the Whelan wing. We found it well stocked with amenities, an easy drive to local attractions and downtown, in a quiet neighborhood, and complete with comfortable beds, plus very clean. It checked every box I could think of. We particularly enjoyed the porch and multiple outdoor seating options. It felt homey and was much more than just a place to sleep, a lot of care has gone into this place and it shows. We even walked down to a local ice cream……

"The hotel is very close to scenic spots, making it convenient to visit places like Ruby Falls. As it is a pet-friendly hotel, the hygiene conditions may not be maintained. During our stay, the hotel experienced a power outage in the afternoon for a long time, which greatly affected our accommodation experience. When booking the room, the hotel indicated the availability of electric vehicle charging stations, but upon arrival, we found that there were none. The hotel breakfast was very good.The front desk was very friendly."
