If you are looking to stay at the Italy Inn, you should know that it is the upstairs of a large convenience store. Not much there in ways of amenities or scenery, but it will do in a pinch. Room was clean and inexpensive. We were staying there for a local bike ride in Italy, Texas. Far from luxury, but good enough to get the job done

Comfortable bed, AC was great, very noisy area, non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke, friendly check-in; friendly staff! I didn’t feel very safe as solo female traveler. Inaccurate & misleading info on booking site about entire location!

The motel's back side (which has rooms) is facing a truck stop so you hear them refueling, as well as coming and going all the time. The carpet was sticky, the beds were hard and they had no comforters only a scratchy blanket. Very thin walls so you heard toilets flushing and bathrooms were very small

We booked a room here after deciding last minute to come to set up early for the annual TCR Festival we are vendors at. All options in Waxahachie were booked up. This spot was convenient, clean, and staff were efficient and friendly. Several dining options nearby, open late too! Would stay here again.
