“We were here for two nights and I wish it could have been more. The room was clean, very comfortable bed and great shower. They had many choices for breakfast-even my husband liked it. The only thing I would do differently is have a room on the back side of the hotel. There is a lot of traffic and it is a little noisy on the front of the hotel. ”

“The couch is outdated and the seat covers are cracked, but the bed and bathroom are clean. There is no way to fully close the curtains and there is a parking lot right across the street. I wish there was a listing of channels so I didn’t have to keep clicking to find local channels, etc. It seems to be in a relatively safe area and close to lots of businesses. ”

“James and Connie are wonderful hosts. We had refreshing conversation and yummy breakfasts. The MB Estate is in need of some TLC but is lovely and something fascinating awaits at every nook and cranny. The honeymoon suite is expansive and well appointed. We highly recommend a stay at MB Estate!”

“The property was clean and quiet and the staff were very friendly. They had a full mini fridge with an actual freezer, which was the big draw for me. Plenty of hot water which was appreciated. The bed was just ok, since the sheet would not stay on during the night and it wasn't the most comfortable. The air conditioner didn't work well and was not the cleanest. For the price though, it was a good value”

“It is a very convenient location. Across the street is the Grocery store with gasoline and the pizza/sandwich shop. Later, we did walk 250 yards to the brewery. Small parking area for a large p/u truck. Biggest drawback is that it is only 15 feet from the main road going through Damascus, which tends to be busy and noisy. And no front or back usable porch..”

“we loved the Emory House. The hosts are wonderfully gracious and made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the koi pond and the log cabin in the back. Great place to stay!”

“Place is super clean and has everything too need for a weekend visit. Owner quick to respond and allowed us to check in early. One block off Main Street so we walked everywhere”

“This was the perfect place for me and my family. The accommodations were as described and the peace and serenity of the view and critters were an added bonus. We enjoyed playing board games and enjoying one anothers company. The only negative was no wifi password was available, but that lent itself well to more family time, so not a major issue and possibly something I overlooked. We loved it and look forward to the next visit!”

“At first our 1 night stay was ok untill nightfall when the dopers started hanging out but thats anywhere now these days room looked clean had a lil hint of a smoke smell which was a nonsmoking room till we seen bed sheets had burn holes in em but hey whatever what got me was the fact dawn came in sitting there and started seeing roaches crawling on the wall dresser even had 1 on the table bout that time im waking the wife up like we getting out of here now went 2 the front 2 ask 4 a refund and……

“This cabin was a clean,spacious, family friendly located in a quite subdivision. My elderly parent found the single level layout easy navigate. Plenty of outdoor activities close to explore and the lake was prestine. Lots of shopping close. We very much enjoyed the lighting bugs display right after sundown. It was like Christmas trees lit up! Thank you for sharing your lovely pet friendly home with us.”

“Very cozy cabin, nicely decorated. There were many extras provided by the hosts such as tea and spices and soaps. We took advantage of the firepit out front. No cell signal but wifi and roku provided. We had a lovely visit. Confirm that linens and towels are provided. We did not see that on the listing but did receive an email from the hosts that we needed to bring our own linens. Maybe it was because it was off season.”
