"It had just rained like a monsoon, but it was still really clean. Instructions were easy to follow. It was a great place to stay and more affordable than lots of other places around there."

"This was our second year hear, and we will definitely be back next year! We had piles in the water from sun up to sun down, and my husband caught a giant catfish and aligator gar! The cabin is cozy, and the atmosphere is peaceful. Coach is the best too! See y'all next year!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the houseboat. The lake and the view were SO relaxing, and the houseboat was comfortable. There were 3 of us, so quarters were a little tight, but fortunately we all like each other. Lol. We took one of the boat tours from Johnson Marina next door, which we also highly recommend. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a great place to stay, and the host was very responsive."

"Property was as advertised. Very clean, quiet, comfortable, tastefully decorated. We found the location great, 5 minutes from family dollar, 5 minutes from caddo state park, 12 minutes from Johnson’s marina, 17 minutes from Jefferson. Host was very good with communication. Would definitely stay again. "

"Immediately after booking I needed to change my reservation from 2 nights to 1 night. I followed the prompts on VRBO to change my dates and it led me to message the host. I messaged the host who said it was no problem. After our stay, I saw I was charged for 2 nights. I requested a refund for 1 night. The host said he/she purchased the property the week before my stay and would not be able refund me for the night. He/she offered me another night within the following 12 months but I said I would not be back to that lake. It was a one time trip. I finally had to reach out to VRBO and they said the host would be contacting them to initiate the refund. Almost 2 months later I still have not received a refund. It’s even more suspicious that the host that agreed to change it to one night has the same name as the person that said they just bought the property according to the message thread. This issue could have been resolved so easily."

"Was okay for a fishing trip at the last minute, but was certainly not ideal for a couples getaway. Never was able to get on the internet. Key was not left in the room and was delayed in getting on the lake while waiting to get a key. Was definitely not what was expected based upon the picture on the site. I will say that it was clean, and I appreciated that. "
