“This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. She even called the staff in to prepare a delicious dinner for us, including an amazing spread of fried rice fit for a feast. The staff then helped drive our……

“The couple were warm and friendly, the room was clean and tidy, and the view of the terrace was very good. The boss gave us four people breakfast without any dispute. I also provided him with a booking confirmation to see if my reservation included breakfast, and I promised to complain to hotel.com after returning to Hong Kong. “This is in a beautiful location! High up in the hills. The hotel is lovely. We arrived and waited for an hour or so. It seemsd abandoned and the telephone number was out of order. So we decided to leave and walk down the hill to find another hotel. So lucky for us we asked a man if he had a tuktuk and it turned out he worked at the hotel sometimes so took us back. Indika was incredile. He looked after us from start to finish. Made sure our rooms were kovely and clean. Brought us refreshments.……

“My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Weir House. Our only regret was that we could only stay one. From the patio of the house, we could hear the rapids of the river and surrounded by verdant forest. Staying here truly was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. “A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. We enjoyed the food and the service was really nice and kind. Ashley is a character and brings some personality to the table. It’s very isolated but it’s possible to get a Tuktuk……
