“This is a lovely venue and a beautiful town. We had two nights here. The first was in a large family room in the basement, which was a little bit musty. But it was spacious and I appreciated that. The next night we moved upstairs to two large rooms with en suite. They were much more comfortable and lovely views. The breakfast was very nice and generous. The staff were very helpful.”

“Stayed here for one night after climbing Adam’s Peak and it was perfect for the rest and sleep that was needed. The property was clean, including the room which had a big, comfy bed and hot water. No ac needed as it got chilly in the evening, there was a warm duvet. Staff were extremely nice and friendly, making sure we were well attended do. “Hugely overpriced. I’m not saying that it is not a comfortable stay, but I would rate it a 5 star out of 10. Firstly, staff are not really helpful/ welcoming, the welcome drink was nice, but the waiter who served it didn’t give a single smile the whole time. We asked for two separate beds when we booked online but were given one king bed, luckily they double checked and changed the room for us.
