“ The location on top of the mountain provided spectacular views and cool mornings even in July. I would suggest putting a medium sized skillet in the house to use with the convection hot plate. The fridge may need checking also. It took most of three days to cool down. Overall this is a great rental which I think was an outstanding value. I would definately stay here again.”

“I’ve been delayed in reviewing our stay at the Tree House because in my mind, we’re still there! Talk about relaxing, a true getaway, even though we were active from sun up to sun down. Everything about our stay was perfect. Ken was the ultimate communicator, so friendly, accommodating, and available for any questions. He and his wife, plus their children, greeted us upon arrival and during our stay and even shared her homemade bread! The area is beautiful, 84 acres that felt like it was all……

“To start, the check in/out instructions David sends prior to arriving are extremely helpful and well written to find the location of the cabin! It’s truly the perfect spot for a weekend (or week) to disconnect. The view was breathtaking. The house was extremely clean and smelled like a log cabin. “We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautifully constructed with natural, high quality materials and finishes throughout-both inside and outside-including wood roof, floors, windows, and trim. The location is a 10-minute drive from the entrance gate along scenic and beautiful Reynolds Parkway. The house was very quiet and had a wonderful view. ”

“Our family has stayed at quite a few rental properties over the years, but this one tops them all. The location is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, scenic, and the perfect mountain escape. The cabin itself is thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need, which made our stay feel easy and comfortable from start to finish. “Great location! Close to town with other fun nearby locations to visit. - The town is nice and feels like Mayberry. - There are nice state parks that run along the river all the way to the Virginia border with hikes to the nearby mountains and rivers which my kids (8 and 12) loved doing. - The river also has public access pretty close to town which was clearly a local watering hole which I preferred to an ocean beach. My kids wanted to go to river multiple times on the trip. The house……

“This is my second time renting this great house near Jefferson, NC. Like my first visit, the house is spotlessly clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host was easy and efficient, and the host pays attention to little details that make it feel like home. Highly recommended.”
