“We ended up staying here last minute after canceling our original reservation, and we’re glad we did. It’s a small, quaint hotel that was clean, quiet, and had plenty of parking. The pool area was a highlight—lots of chairs and umbrellas, and the pool stayed wonderfully warm all day. The only downsides were that the A/C in our room could have been much colder, and the hotel should do a better job preventing people who park for beach access from using the pool. “My wife and I travel to the Daytona Beach area every few months, to check on a relative. We have stayed at several “On the Beach Hotels” this was by far our favorite. The entire staff was very welcoming treating their guests like family. We will be staying here on our future visits.”

The check-in process was fine, but the room was 90 degrees. Going into a room that warm is not very welcoming and the AC unit is very high up. There is a remote to help though. “Stayed one night just passing through. It was fine to sleep in for one night but probably not a longer stay. The carpet in the room felt almost wet and sticky and the entire hotel had an odd odor. It could use updating and a thorough deep clean but for the price and just sleeping for a night it worked well for us.”
