Great stay

The property was clean and had plebty of space for the 6 of us. We had a few issues upon checking with a dead battery in the keypad door lock, but they had maintenance on site within a few minutes to fix it. We were missing towels , but again they brought them to us within minutes. The only real negative about fhe property is the on site parking if you have a large SUV. Other than that it was great.

Short sightseeing trip

Handy location and comfortable house. I recommend reversing into the yard and parking space. Its tiny but doable.

Good for friends on vacay - multiple BR/BA

The location was very good - a short walk to great restaurants and our Ubers to the Hollywood Bowl, which is what we were in LA to experience. Four bedrooms was perfect for our group of friends. Bathrooms were on every one of the four floors which was also a selling point for us. However, the address shown upon booking was not the one sent to me the morning upon our arrival. It was possibly a leasing office on Santa Monica Blvd and our townhouse was located further south off of Melrose. The pictures were also not accurate as far as the layout of the unit we stayed in. Maybe they rent out several units, but the listing pics showed a vastly different unit with new and stylish furniture and ours was very old and showed some staining on the chairs. The living room not very conducive for a rental that can accommodate several people. One small couch, a dining table for four people, two extra random chairs, plus a desk in the smallish room. TV was placed on a huge old table and could possibly be mounted on wall to give more space and allow for additional functional seating. Furniture seemed like it came from a hotel that had closed and sold off the furnishings. There were house shoes in packages to wear but no one did and we noticed we had dirty feet if we walked barefoot. Beds were fine, but quite firm. Not many washcloths/towels. Overall though, we would still choose to stay here again because of the location and fair price for several beds for our friend group.

Nice property

Very spacious townhome. Owner was courteous and responsive. The property is gated; however, the main gate was broken and didn’t lock. Good location; however, some may find it “sketchy”. Ensuring the gates function properly may provide an extra sense of security. With a few touch ups to paint and fixtures, and adding a dresser to the bedrooms, this could be 5 star rating. When in LA, I would definitely stay here again.

Overall, my experience here was mixed. This is a 4-story condo in a residential neighborhood. It's very close to Hollywood and Universal Studios. There is room to park two large vehicles nose-to-tail. It was quite clean, although there were some scuffs and a few small holes in the walls. Now for the drawbacks: 1. The texts I received were a bit confusing about the address. The property address itself was different from the actual unit number. 2. The gate mechanism was not working, so the main gate was open all the time. 3. The bedrooms, except on the fourth floor, had no dressers and only very small tables, so there was nowhere to unpack clothes into. 4. No extra blankets or comforters. 5. No plunger! One of the toilets clogged, and I had no way to fix it. I texted the manager and did not think to specify the unit number, so she sent a plunger to the wrong unit. She really should have known which guest was staying in what unit. 6. The beds were rather firm. 7. The window shades admit a lot of light. If you prefer sleeping in a dark room, this is a problem. 8. The unit can sleep 14, but the dining table seats only 4. I usually expect a better experience from VRBO properties (this one was cross-listed on orbitz for a lower price). With a little more attention to detail, this place could have 4 stars.
