“Das Hotel Samaria können wir empfehlen. Die Lage im Hafen von Sfakia ist toll. Das Einchecken ging problemlos und war nach 2 Minuten erledigt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon mit Blick über den Hafen. Das Zimmer hatte alles, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Kühlschrank und funktionierendes W-Lan seien hier erwähnt. Das Zimmer war sauber und sehr ruhig; kostenlose Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung (allerdings muss man 5 Minuten laufen. Direkt vorfahren kann man nicht). Sfakia ist nicht groß, man……

“ Die Unterkunft war schön und sauber ,aber die Küchenausstattung sehr mäßig. Ebenso für uns ,als Nichtautofahrer ein großes Manko, dass jeder sein Auto vor seinem Appartment parken konnte. Der Blick von unserer Terrasse, war der auf einen Parkplatz . Dabei hätte es im vorderen Teil der Anlage genug Platz für parkende Autos gegeben. Sehr schade ! ”

“We had an excellent stay for 5 nights at Batis Beach Hotel. Our room had two balconies, and one had a partial view of the beach. The hotel is directly across the street from the beach and it's located close to many restaurants and shops. We only ate breakfast at the hotel once, but it was great. Fresh cooked eggs with yogurt, fruit, and breads. The room itself was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were always very friendly and helpful with answering all of our questions! “We had a great stay. Hotel was sparkling clean. Lovely pool and simple but very good breakfast with freshest vegetables and feta every day. Coffee machine worked well and the options for coffee were fantastic. Plenty of parking near hotel, and a nice village and great beach in walking distance were of course what we came for. I wish we stayed even longer. ”

“Sehr schönes kleines Hotel und Fußläufig sind Restaurants und Shops, sowie Strand gut erreichbar. Bestes Frühstücksbuffet, dass ich je auf Kreta gesehen habe, sehr liebevoll alles hergerichtet. Das Hotel ist klein aber Oho, auch Doppelzimmer und Bad eher sehr klein geraten.”

“The hotel staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. While the rooms themselves were quite pleasant and well-maintained, the buffet offerings were unfortunately below our expectations. We also found the path to the beach to be unclear and somewhat difficult to navigate. Despite these minor drawbacks, the kindness of the staff made for a generally positive experience. We hope future guests will find the directions to the beach more straightforward.”

“Even though i had booked a ground floor studio we were placed upstairs because the manager thought it would be better for a family! I had booked the ground floor as I have mobility issues! The stairs were made of stone & had worn to different shapes which I found very difficult. We complained & had some money returned but this did not help with problems with the stairs! So my husband had to supervise me on the stairs. The room was nice but smaller than booked - nowhere to put clothes. The bed……

“Building, courtyard with pool, and rooms were very nice. Bathrooms however were not well maintained and showers had issues such as not having a mount on the wall to hold the shower head and not having shower curtain and plugged drains. The bathrooms desperately need to be updated. The breakfast was ok but other hotels we stayed at in Crete had much nicer breakfast selections. ”
