“We were treated like family here. Our stay was so lovely. We were staying for a wedding nearby and the lovely owners let us check in at 11am, before the ceremony, to ensure we knew our way around.
The b&b was peaceful and had all amenities that we needed.

“The staff were all exceptionally friendly and very helpful…. We went ‘off piste’ re the breakfast menu and this was not only accommodated with ease, but wonderfully cooked too. Bravo the chef 😘.
The bed was comfy and spacious. The showers, hot and powerful. The only downside was that the room was slightly chilly and the plug in radiator did not work enough to warm it up….. The standard of cleanliness could have been better, but maybe that is determined by the age of the property….. We stayed 2……

“Staff efficient but robotic and lacked empathy.
Bedroom tired and the lighting was inadequate when applying make-up. Dim lights might be romantic but a dressing table with a proper lamp so you can see what you look like is essential!

“Although our stay was fleeting (just one night) we were made to feel extremely welcome by all of the staff.
The room lacked a TV, but actually this was an absolute blessing and it made change not to reach for a remote control. Instead there was a DAB radio which was playing a soothing Classic FM when we entered our rather classy country pub hotel. Everything was to a very high standard in our room.

“The hotel was exactly as described in photos. Clean, classy and very good value for money. We couldn’t hear any guests within property. Shower was powerful and nice and bathroom was clean. Bed comfortable, duvet thick but airy which was the perfect combo. Outside space from the room was well presents and clean. No bad smell and easy check in. Only thing I would critique is we couldn’t open window wide enough for our personal choice and could do with curtains as well blinds as that morning sun……

“Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals)
There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented.
The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu.
