“Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay ”

“Staff efficient but robotic and lacked empathy.
Bedroom tired and the lighting was inadequate when applying make-up. Dim lights might be romantic but a dressing table with a proper lamp so you can see what you look like is essential!
Hot water in bathroom basin very slow in coming through and the toilet seat is misaligned ”

“Pleasant hosts who are helpful. Clean, spacious cottage with a well-supplied kitchen and comfortable king size bed.
Private parking next to the cottage is convenient.
We had some difficulty with the heat because it is on timers. We find that inconvenient. Our only other problem was a slight but persistent sewer odor in the bathroom. ”
