“Well Taylor River Lodge is just absolutely amazing. Everything we needed for the perfect active persons getaway: Biking, Hiking, Fly fishing, rafting, bird watching, meals provided, itinerary and activity transportation arranged by staff, fabulous guides and wonderful staff catering to ones every need including provided meals, spa services and a swimming pool, hot tub, steam room, dry sauna and yard games, not to mention the wonderful river side cabins which where delightful to fall asleep in. ……

“The cabin was perfect. It offers all the cleanliness and comforts of a home but in a mountain cabin . . We had absolutely everything we needed . The amenities are well thought of . The host Katie was extremely sweet and made checking in and out easy peasy . The views were amazing including the Moose and her calf who came to visit one morning while having our coffee . We were sad to leave but will be back to this cabin every opportunity we get .”

“This was our second stay and it was as wonderful as the first! The secluded location with Mt. Antero and Mt. Princeton as your only neighbors is perfect! The stars we viewed from the hot tub were unlike any we have ever seen. The cabin itself is clean and well-appointed. The kitchen has every possible appliance and cooking need imaginable. “The listing accurately reflects the rental. It is in a great location and we enjoyed the hot tub alongside the creek. One thing to note - I would say this place is less pet friendly and more pet tolerable. They block off the master bedroom saying pets are not allowed in it, which is a bummer if you have your pet sleep in the same room. They also require you to cover all furniture if you bring pets but do not provide sheets to do so. And they require you to vacuum before departing despite……

“Cozy property minutes to Mt Princeton hot springs. We spent the weekend with family and had a great time. The house was fully stocked for cooking meals and the house has the perfect mountain home feel. One very minor thing is the basement was very cold. It took a day for the space heaters to warm up the place and it was fine after this. Overall we loved it! ”

“Our stay was an excellent experience for the entire family! This house has everything we needed to enjoy the Colorado Mountains including the fishing pond with lots of fish. The location is great for the nearby hot springs, rafting and towns of Salida and Buena Vista. The beds were comfortable and the back deck was a great place to enjoy coffee in the morning and the stars after dark. If you are looking for a great place for your family to relax and un plug, this is the place to go to.”

“This was our second time staying here and it was just a good and the first time. The location and coziness of the house is perfect. It could use a good deep cleaning but it wasn’t anything terrible. “A very nice cabin situated in the mountains between Salida and Buena Vista. Check-in was easy and the property managers were highly available when we had questions. It's a cabin, so expect some dated elements (those showers are a tight fit...) but overall was very happy. Appreciated some of the small things, like the owners providing firewood for the fire pit and detergent for the on-site laundry. “Beautiful location next to a river. It's great for walks and nearby hiking trails nearby. Having a pool table and shuffle board table was great for evenings. Plenty of space for a family or small group.”

“This the perfect place for a family vacation in the middle of the beautiful Collegiate peaks. The cabin was wonderful for large gatherings. We comfortably slept 9 adults with room for more. It was very clean and right in the middle of fishing, white water rafting, hiking trails and very close to snow skiing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. The owner was so responsive with ideas for groceries, restaurants and hiking trails. We had a wonderful time.”

“Came for a short stay celebrating a birthday. Kids came, May snow came (17” total over the weekend). We weren’t planning on snow, but still made the best of it. Still enjoyed sight-seeing and the BV area (disc golfing, actual golfing, indoor wall climbing, shopping, cool restaurants) We will visit again as this has quickly become a favorite place for us.”
