“I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago, in the exact same room. Not much had changed, except owners. Great location if you have a dog with you as you are only a block from Pioneer Park and quiet neighborhoods. Front desk staff was extremely helpful. The only complaint was the condition of the tub. It was not very clean; the bathroom was overall clean, good towels, but I'm a stickler for a clean showering area. Maybe the tub needs to be reglazed. Very reasonable price.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Lodge Traverse condo. The pet-friendly setup and free shuttle into town were huge perks. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including pots and pans, dishes, a toaster, microwave, dishwasher, and even two coffee makers. Some of those weren’t listed, so that was a nice surprise. The hot tub and pool area were also a great bonus after a day of hiking, and we appreciated the filtered water bottle filling stations throughout the……

“I stayed for 4 nights and had a truck with trailer hauling my side by side and a disabled Vet asked where is could park. With that the lady showed me and I parked there. The next day there was a truck parked at the end to me no big deal I parked as close as I could and was out of the way. The manager asked me to move because I was blocking EV parking but the EV parking was on the other side 4 spots with signs when I showed them they said they could park where I was which had no signs. “The property was easy to access and clean when we got into our room. There is no elevator in this hotel but the stairs were easy enough to navigate. The hotel staff were pleasant and very helpful from the moment We walked in the door until the time we walked out. However, no ice machine was on the second floor where we stayed. “The Riverside Meadows cabin was a delight. It sits right on a stretch of the Rio Grande river and is ideal for those seeking a quiet spot. The cabin itself is well-designed and, although it has a vintage look on the outside, it is completely modern and comfortable. “Unfortunately, the property isn’t very well maintained. Sheets were clean beds not all that comfortable. Bathroom clean except for toilet. Needed a good scrubbing. The owner has done nothing to update property since it was built. They do have a pool and 2 outside hot tubs. One was not working. They have a game room, pool table, ping pong table and exercise room. Restaurant was closed due to lack of help and TVs did not work. It’s in a beautiful location. I just say shame on the owner……
